Telephone Policy for residents
If your agency has a "Youth Access to Telephone Policy" that provide for residents to report abuse or harassment. Please share your policy with the Great State of Georgia.
Here is Oregon’s policy on youth access to Telephone; however, we are in the process of working to install a phone system in our facilities that will allow residents to access the phone on a more independent basis. They will have a code to put in and it will allow them to only call the numbers on their approved list and of course hotline numbers. It will be so much better than asking, scheduling, monitoring, assigning a staff, manipulation, and so on that happens currently.
